When Motörhead icon Lemmy first met Plasmatics luna-chick in charge Wendy O. Williams, sparks kept flying even after they put the chain saws away. A sonic collaboration was inevitable, and their sandpaper-throated duet on Tammy Wynette's country standard "Stand by your Man" has to be one of hard rock's greatest-ever middle fingers to the mainstream.

Motörhead - Masterplan (Plasmatics cover). This collaboration between members of Motörhead and Plasmatics was recorded in May 1982 and led to the departure of guitarist Fast Eddie" Clarke. Stand by Your Man is an EP released in 1982. It is a collaboration of the bands Motörhead and the Plasmatics. It is notorious as the reason "Fast" Eddie left Motörhead, more so than the bad reception the EP received. Lemmy and Wendy O. Williams had organised to do a duet of the famous Tammy Wynette country song, though most critics, and fans, to this day are baffled by the choice; Wendy coming from the Punk scene in the mid-late 70s and Lemmy having a mixture of Rock genres.

No Remorse (Motörhead album). This is the only reissue of the full EP outside its original release in 1982, although 'Masterplan' and 'Stand By Your Man' have appeared on other compilations. The 2015 2LP reissue of the album includes the studio version of "Bomber" and the full length version of "Overkill".
