E MC² is a 1979 album produced and composed by Giorgio Moroder and Harold Faltermeyer. The album describes itself as the first electronic live-to-digital album. In 1979, it was officially the year of Albert Einstein. To join in on the hype, Giorgio Moroder began plans to record the world's first digital album, after being inspired by a Soundstream display stand. He made heavy use of computers and electronics to make the album fit for the digital process.

As most may know, Knights In White Satin and From Here To Eternity got a full digital remaster on CD, in 1992 by Castle Communications. It has had multiple CD releases along with most of Giorgio's stuff by Repertoire Records, but unfortunately, they are all sourced from vinyl, with audible pops still left in and an overwhelming amount of compression added. This is actually my remaster, what I mean is, I remastered the AUDIO. I used a mint condition, Japanese LP and manually removed any ticks and pops (there was hardly any).

E MC² is a 1979 studio album by Giorgio Moroder. It has been billed as the "first electronic live-to-digital album. The album's title track peaked at number 4 on Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart.
