The work of Haiti born, Montreal based pianist and song writer Henri-Pierre Noel was first brought to wider attention by the Wah Wah label two years ago when they reissued his 1979 private press debut LP Piano which deftly melded the Kompa Funk of his homeland with elements of contemporary North American jazz and disco. After a couple of 7" releases on the Wah Wah 45s label, Dom Servini returns to the Noel archives to reissue One More Step, the Haitian's super rare second LP from the 1980s.
