Philip Jap aka Philip Gayle is best known for the singles,Save Us, 1982, which reached no 53 in the UK charts and the single Total Erasure, 1982,which did a little better peaking at no 41, these were included on his self titled album. For this record Philip used three different producers, Tony Mansfield, Trevor Horn and Colin Thurston but the album does work as one.
