Aussie growler: CW Stoneking recorded and mixed his new album in two days. The word is more exciting than the beat, to me," the curious stranger says with a grin. So I wrote a song and put it in there about 100 times. Pared it back to 90. I had no rekkid title and the word kept lookin' at me. Boogaloo. All them zeros reminded me how much money I wanted to earn. rolls: half laconic conversation, half juiced-up old-school showbiz patter. Gon' Boogaloo is out today. I bought this LP earlier this week and found a bent/curved LP inside the sleeve. It's is not too bad (the needle doesn't jump) but seems strange for a new pressing. I've contacted my record shop and they've opened another copy which was exactly the same. They will reorder this title to the distributor. I'm curious to know what comes out. Anybody else has this problem?

Absolutely the same problem. But the needle doesn't jump, so its ok for me.

From C.W. in mid 2015:!!!! VINYL UPDATE FOR UK & EUROPEAN CUSTOMERS!!!!My album, Gon' Boogaloo has been plagued with disasters in terms of getting vinyl produced owing to various technical errors, shipping delays, shipping damage, etc etc etc...I've been trying to get a working, properly packaged set of master plates sent to Europe for manufacturing there, I contacted Mastercraft in USA again who make the metal parts for record pressing, who have so far delivered a few damaged sets for me, to organize another set asap, here is their response: "Hi CW Stoneking, We do not have nothing here to make you new plates, Thanks, Desmond"...All UK & European customers who have pre-ordered my album on vinyl, I URGE YOU TO IMMEDIATELY CANCEL YOUR ORDERS AND GET A REFUND !!!I will be making all vinyl albums available from a new webstore I'm putting together, along with some rare item vinyl stuff I'm gonna record soon. This will take a little while but will be sooner than 'never', which is when your pre-orders are gonna arrive. If you know someone in UK/Europe who's pre-ordered Gon' Boogaloo on vinyl please share this information with them.(This does not apply to Australian customers- new pressing arriving soon)
