The Brass Are Comin'. The album also spawned a television special with the same name that aired on NBC in the fall of 1969. Clips from the television special can be seen on the album's double-fold cover. Continuing his pattern of experimenting, Herb Alpert tried new sounds. Unlike the previous Warm album which featured much slower-paced songs leaning more toward a "Brazilian" sound, The Brass Are Comin' featured a western-theme with faster-paced songs.
