The label is based in Brussels, was established at the end of the '80s, and expanded its catalogue in the mid-'90s through the release of electronic music. Since 2001, the label has been releasing Hinant's Anthology of Noise and Electronic Music series. The three Underwood compilations (1996-1998) and two Substantia compilations (1999-2000) were the best open windows on Sub Rosa's intense level of activity during that 5-year span. Substantia was published in 1999. Both Underwood and Substantia were attempts at touching the substance of our productions.

Sub Rosa is a Brazilian rock band, created in 2006 with influences of progressive rock and classic rock. Their debut album, "The Gigsaw (2009)", was an independent release and, because it sold well in the US and Europe, it was re-released in Brazil by the label "Progressive Rock Worldwide, Megahard Records", in a remixed, remastered deluxe digipack version, with three bonus tracks and new artwork.

Sub Rosa biography Progressive Rock band, created in 2006 by Reinaldo Penido, Daniel Deboni and Vin�cius Mendes, in the city of Betim, Minas Gerais State, Brazil. SUB ROSA have been influenced by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis and Marillion, yet looking for their own musical identity and trying to stamp their own mark on the listener. SUB ROSA recorded a demo in 2007 - the 3 songs go from blues to jazz. This demo was the ticket for the band to record their first official album. The Gigsaw" (uniting Gig + Jigsaw) is the debut album, with 14 tracks. This album was composed and produced by bassist Reinaldo Penido; the conception and the design of all the visual art is his, also. The present line-up was joined during the recording process and the album release. The songs are interlocked, making the album an indivisible piece, but also working fine when listened separately.
