Description

Lyrics to More Than You Know by James Moody from the James Moody and Frank Foster in Paris album - including song video, artist biography, translations and more!

James Moody, alternating between alto and tenor, is well featured on two of the three sessions (20 selections in all) included on this reissue CD. Moody joins trumpeter Roger Guerin, pianist Raymond Fol, bassist Pierre Michelot and drummer Pierre Lemarchand for a ballad-oriented session that includes "I Cover The Waterfront," "More Than You Know" and "This Is Always. Moody is also showcased fronting the same rhythm section plus strings and woodwinds on six French ballads and his melodic improvisations are quite lyrical and subtle.
