I've always really liked Psychosis. It just puts me in a really good place every time. It's made in the typical Psychotropic formula in terms of the sounds incorporated. But it's the way the chords and pads progress throughout the song and how the relatively simple raw break and low end bass underpins the track together. With a slight melancholic edge, but with an air of uplifting, summery, exotic utopia felt with the use of the strings. Probably the classiest of Psychotropic's releases in my opinion, both in terms of production, arrangement, melody and ideas.
Fog Fog
Both tracks are quality "back to mine" business. Both equally deliver a laid back jam that caresses the mind and soothes the body, easing you down slowly, but equally giving you cheeky peaks on the way. Outstanding tight 1990 production. Not a single midi trigger awry. A lot of thought went in to these, and it shows. Salute to Psychotropic. One of my faves - along with the hundreds of others ;)

Classic old school tune, with its breakbeat style loops, leading into a simple synth rift that, transforms through the track as it fades and filters up and down as other elements are introduced such as teh strings and slightly different synth loops. Track has a deep laid back feel, absolutely fantastic tune.If you enjoy this its worth checking out the other Psychotropic releases.
IWAS IWAS
I first heard this on KISS FM London in 1990 and was totally blown away by the hypnotic nature of this track with its deep booming bass lines, deep organ riff and crunching beats. They don't make them like this anymore. Quality old vibes
