After their more commercial If 3 this mainly live album If 4 follows the more jazz orientated meanderings of their earlier albums, but with a more heavy guitar sound, typified by the first track the amazing ten minute live instrumental "Sector 17", a real album highlight. As the band were essentially more at home playing this type of music live this makes sense, but still sounds great in the studio.

Original album released in 1972. Recorded in Memphis, TN, Atlanta, GA, and London, February 1972. Issued in foldout cardsleeve. Label Code: LC 08065.

IF 4 ‎(CD, Album, RE, RM, Car). Not a live album; this is a German issue of If 4 released with a hype-cover to promote a tour in that country. I have both issues and tracks are identical. Reply Notify me Helpful.

It was re-issued as a CD first in 1995 by an obscure label (OSA), then in 1997 by Island and finally in 2006 on Repertoire Records with two bonus tracks and liner notes by UK music critic Chris Welch.

If I Were a Carpenter is a 1994 tribute album to The Carpenters. It features alternative rock bands covering the songs of Richard and Karen Carpenter. The cover is a cartoon-like drawing of Richard and Karen Carpenter listening to an LP album against an orange background. Richard Carpenter has said that he doesn't "care for" the version of "Superstar" by Sonic Youth. The album was the brainchild of Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Replacements, Faith No More) and David Konjoyan.

Must need rehab If you think you know me from the facets they show these folks to get money, I gotta laugh How funny it is you don't realize the skill lies in knowing within the truth there's still lies It's called being civilized But not to trivialize your belief in the semi-fictionalized I am who you see What. And I wanted to set the standard with the album with that, you know what I’m saying. Because my kids is what I do a lot of my work for, what I grind for, behind the scene. People don’t know having four kids is not that easy.

If some of the filler songs were shaved off, and a more concentrated effort was made to really driving home the personal narrative of the album, Offset would’ve had a much stronger body of work. FATHER OF 4 is an album of great intentions but lacks in manifesting its ideas into great songs. Once Offset figures out how to emote, sincerely, then he’ll really be on to something. By Yoh, aka Father of Yoh, aka 1.
