Road is the debut self-titled studio album by American hard rock group Road. Released in 1972, it was the only album to be released by the band, who split up the same year. The song "My Friends" was originally recorded by bassist Noel Redding's previous band, Fat Mattress, but went unreleased at the time, making the Road version the first published recording of the song

As much as I love whole albums, it can get tiresome if you have heard the same artist for some time and you are tired and sick of driving. I think long trips are the best for big playlists with a lot of singalong tracks and variety. Shorter journeys are good for whole albums at a time.
