Sister is the third and final album by Swedish heavy metal band In Solitude. This is their second album to be released through Metal Blade Records having signed with the label in 2010, and was released on October 1, 2013. The album was recorded at Studio Cobra in Stockholm, Sweden in March 2013, and was produced and mixed by Martin "Konie" Ehrencrona.

Far Corporation's second album had originally been scheduled for release in 1987 under the title "Advantage". Two singles were released at the time, "One By One" and "Sebastian" before the album was cancelled. Two songs were re-worked and given to other Farian-produced artists - "Make Believe" was recorded by Jayne, "Big Brother" by Milli Vanilli. In 1994, Farian dug out the masters and got a new line-up of the group together to record a few new songs that were added to the track list, and the result was released as "Solitude"

It seems paradoxical that a bunch of Swedish kids play finest vintage Heavy Metal, but this is exactly what IN SOLITUDE do. When the band recorded their self-titled debut In Solitude (2008), singer Pelle Hornper Åhman was only 16 years old. He joined the fold one year after IN SOLITUDE’s founding in 2002. This makes it even more astonishing that their frontman acts and performs like a veteran pulling every trick in the book on stage.

Solitude confirms that this is not the case. King Midas Sound’s fourth album feels like a plunge into the abyss. Without exaggeration, it is one of the bleakest testaments to heartbreak in the annals of recorded sound. Its atmosphere resembles that of a collapsed star-black, isolated, unfathomably dense. These 60 minutes pass like a dark night of the soul, stretched out to eternity.
