The Sixpence None The Richer from Texas-based Group was formed in 1989 around the then 16 year old guitarist Matt Slocum and the then 13 year old singer Leigh Nash. They debuted in 1993 with the album The Fatherless And The Widow. For their fourth album left Matt Slocum himself said it inspired by writers like Dylan Thomas and Pablo Neruda.
