Description

Artista: Bad Brains Álbum: Bad Brains Ano: 1982.

Genre: Hardcore Punk.

BUILD A NATION has clearly brought out the best in the band. All original members, Dr. Know, Darryl Jenifer . and Earl Hudson, deliver an explosive arsenal of riffs and bad ass bag of voices.

Bad Brains (also known as The Yellow Tape or Attitude: The ROIR Sessions) is the debut studio album recorded by American hardcore punk/reggae band Bad Brains. Recorded in 1981 and released on the cassette-only label ROIR on February 5, 1982, many fans refer to it as "The Yellow Tape" because of its yellow packaging, much in the way that the Beatles' self-titled record is often called "The White Album"

Build a Nation is neither the equal of those first three Bad Brains albums, nor as disappointing as the string that followed.

Build a Nation is the eighth full-length studio album by hardcore punk pioneers Bad Brains. Released on June 26, 2007 on Megaforce Records with distribution by Oscilloscope Laboratories, it was produced by Adam Yauch of Beastie Boys, a longtime friend of the band. This album marked the 30th anniversary of the band. The photography for the album was shot by Annie Leibovitz. In the album's opening week, it debuted at on the Billboard 200. I want to start working on the next one, because we did that one two years ago already. In January 2007, it was announced that Build a Nation would be the title of the album

The Bad Brains have not released a full album's worth of new material since the poorly recieved major label effort God of Love in 1995. I, personally, have found every Bad Brains release (including God of Love and the HR-less Rise) to have at least a couple really good songs on them. The band has always been, regardless of HR's antics, a tight and extremely potent musical force. Now they're back with the original lineup and have unleashed upon the world Build a Nation.
