Rasmus Seebach is a son of Tommy Seebach, about whom he has also written a song, namely "Den jeg er" (English: "Who I am"). In the song, Rasmus tells his father that they have forgiven him and are doing fine, despite the father's alcoholism and sudden death. His brother Nicolai Seebach is also a well-known musician, songwriter and producer who co-writes most of Rasmus' materials. Rasmus Seebach is a Danish singer/songwriter who debuted to chart-topping success in 2009 with smash hit single "Engel," a trio of Top Five follow-up hits, and a five-times-platinum eponymous album that charted number one for a half-year's time. Born on March 28, 1980, he is a son of Tommy Seebach, a famous Danish pop singer who regularly competed in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix contest during the '80s, and was chosen to represent Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981. In the decade leading up to his solo debut, Rasmus established himself as a hitmaker.
