miRthkon is an Oakland, California based avant rock group founded by omposer Wally Scharold. In addition to several album releases, they have also had songs featured in the video games Guitar Hero Van Halen ("QXP-13 Space Modulator") and Tap Tap Revenge ("Banana" was the Tap Tap Thursday Track on June 24, 2010). While studying composition at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Scharold self-published several CDs under the miRthkon name

Format is a double-disc compilation album by English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys. The album consists of B-sides from various singles released from 1996 to 2009 (Bilingual through Yes, or "Before" to "Did You See Me Coming?"). It is their second B-sides album after Alternative (1995), which collected B-sides from the time of their first version of "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)" (1985) through "Yesterday, When I Was Mad" (1994).

Hawkes returned from his injury and the debut album "Vehicle" was completed and released in 2009 on the Italian Avant-Progressive label AltrOck Productions. After a spate of local gigs and touring on the west coast Hawkes decided to take an indefinite break from music and Lebofsky rejoined as a full member. That summer the band learned a New Music composition written specifically for them and small orchestra for a performance in San Francisco. Among several releases they also have songs featured in the video games Guitar Hero Van Halen ("QXP-13 Space Modulator") and Tap Tap Revenge ("Banana" was the Tap Tap Thursday Track on June 24th, 2010).
