Love Letter is the fifth full-length studio album originally released by Japanese solo artist Gackt on February 14, 2005 in Japan. It continues the unplugged theme of the earlier compilation album The Seventh Night but consists of new material, save for the song "Dears", originally from his album Mars, and "Etude", originally from the demo tape by his indie band Cains:Feel.

In December of 2002, emmuree released their first mini-album, Love Letter, which was limited to 1000 copies. The album soon sold out, and it appeared that emmuree’s gripping, and ultimately depressing, sound was starting to become well known amongst the indies visual scene. In March of 2003, emmuree appeared on the Loop of Life III omnibus, and went on to release their first single, Inori (a repressing of their earlier demo, only with bonus tracks), that July. It appeared that emmuree were on a quick rise to becoming one of visual kei’s most popular gothic groups around, although the group later took 2005 off, and mostly toured that year. In March of 2006, emmuree returned with their Haiiro mini-album, and they released their fourth single, Another Story of Garbera, just one month later, at certain live shows.
