Johnny Osbourne (born Errol Osbourne, 1948) is a popular Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer from Kingston, Jamaica, who rose to success in the late 1970s and mid 1980s. His album Truths and Rights was a notable roots reggae success, and featured "Jah Promise" and the album's title track, "Truths and Rights". However, he is probably best known for his mid 1980s dancehall reggae hits "Buddy Bye" (based on King Jammy's Sleng Teng riddim), "Ice Cream Love" and "Water Pumping".

Johnny Reggae could not see Johnny Reggae could not see Johnny Reggae could not see Never stopped him smiling at me. Said it started with some rookie police Lucky right hand knocked him down to his feet Dragged him legless to the soundproof cell No one but the dead could hear his yell Gave him what they gave to troublesome niggers. Hope some night when there's me and thee Behind those bastards in a blind alley Black of night their eyes won't see Who dealt a dose of brutality.
I Hear a Song is the fifth studio album by Australian recording artist Dami Im released on 23 March 2018 by Sony Music Australia. The album is made up of 12 cover songs and 2 original tracks
As the title and the cover with a great photo of a young Scientist at the controls – courtesy of Beth Lesser – clearly indicate, this is not a contemporary album mixed by Scientist, but one that has been dug up and dusted off. Scientist. This rare and in demand Flick Wilson album from the early ’80s – at the time only released in NYC, but in 2012 reissued on the Dub Irator label – was produced by Hyman ‘Jah Life’ Wright and Henry ‘Junjo’ Lawes and featured the Roots Radics at Channel One and Scientist at King Tubby’s. The combination of the typical heavy Roots Radics riddims from those days and Scientist’s wizardry at the mixing board makes this a wicked dub companion to the vocal set.
