Walter Aziz is the artist who implemented the modern beats of Western Pop Music to the Assyrian music. Walter's goal was always trying to import Assyrian music and take it to the world. Walter Aziz has produced 16 Albums which contains 130 songs and as many as 12 music video clips.

Assyrian pop singer/songwriter Walter Aziz is responsible for taking Assyrian music to new heights. For a people occupying Northern Iraq, the struggle to mark an identity to the world is priority. Perhaps no medium can better express a soul and identity than music. Walter's music strikes a chord in the hearts of young Assyrians and Middle Easterners everywhere with a modern sound and ground-breaking lyrics. With his first new album in over two years, Walter returns, bolstering 11 beat-driven, ed, traditionally flavored tracks. This is the album that, in Walter's opinion, "can open the world's eyes to our music. Titled "Away", the album marked the birth of a new music genre: Assyrian pop. Powered by a new sound, a new label, and a new vision, Walter extends the boundaries of Assyrian dance.
