That's all Folks! is the Looney Tunes signature closing sequence.

A phrase made popular by the Warner Bros' classic Looney Tunes cartoon, where Porky the Pig would show up at the ending screen proclaiming "That's All, Folks. The phrase is often used mockingly or used as a somewhat humorous-toned but not actually meant to be funny manner.

On Murder Considered as one of the Fine Arts" is an essay by Thomas De Quincey first published in 1827 in Blackwood's Magazine. It focuses particularly on a series of murders allegedly committed in 1811 by John Williams in the neighborhood of Ratcliffe Highway, London

What's the meaning of the phrase 'That's all folks'? The catchphrase on the banner shown at the end of Looney Tunes cartoons. What's the origin of the phrase 'That's all folks'? The phrase was first used at the end of a 1930 Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoon and was spoken by the character Bosko. This appears to have been a development of the earlier line 'So long, folks!', which had been used in 1929 Bosko cartoon. The Looney Tunes lines may have been influenced by a British cartoon from 1926 in the Jerry The Troublesome Tyke series.

That’s right, every single song here is about pro wrestling (albeit usually of the decidedly minor-league variety). As could be expected, Darnielle approaches the subject with uncommon sensitivity and insight, gifting some of his most tender moments of recognition to the perpetual villains of the melodrama ( Throw my better self overboard, Shoot at him when he comes up for air ). But in an album full of rip-your-heart out moments, Darnielle saves the most powder for his ode to a real-life childhood hero of his, Chavo Guerrero  . Two years of fine-tuning their live sound made all the members of Dawes master musicians not only individually, but as a collective. Alex Casnoff’s work on the keys shines on nearly every track; Wylie Gelber maybe one of the most tasteful bassists ever, and young Griffin Goldsmith’s percussion is rock steady and incredibly impressive.

That is the end of the story/ my narration. ‘ I have given you all the details. : There is nothing more to i. ‘ I have nothing more to say/add. It means that is all to the story, and that it is done. Although the phrase may predate this use, the main association is with the Warner Brothers cartoon character Porky Pig - his cartoons ended with the character saying this tag line. As such, it is a playful way to end something. 3 views · View 2 Upvoters · Answer requested by. Andrada Budean.
