For quite a few years John managed one of the trickiest positions in any choir: transport officer rive with good humour and good results. He may not have always pronounced Crowlas the way we do in west Cornwall, but he got the job done! He was also highly involved in the organisation of choir tours, with invaluable input.

The Cornish Federation of Male Voice Choirs aims to bring together the many male voice choirs of Cornwall so they might benefit from the sharing of ideas, knowledge and friendship and to combine to take part in special events. The formation of the Federation was the culmination of a long standing dream for many of its members and is now a permanent part of the cultural and artistic life of Cornwall.
