Indefinite Soul-Extension’ was an ambitious effort, which took me a long time to write (in Unmoored I took care of the rhythm guitars, vocals, songwriting and lyrics) and I still consider this album to be the one where I really found my own sound and identity vocally and songwriting-wise. In fact, it was the mixed vocals-style established on this album which I later brought with me into Scar Symmetry, when we formed that band. I basically did vocally in SS what I had already been doing in Unmoored for several years. Indefinite Soul-Extension’ also features amazing lead guitar-work and drums.

Thanks to UMUR for the updates. Cimmerian" is the debut full-length studio album by Swedish metal act Unmoored. The album was released through Pulverised Records in the summer of 1999. Cimmerian" was already recorded in late 1997 but the release was postponed because of label issues. On this release Unmoored are a two-piece consisting of Henrik Schönström on drums and Christian Älvestam on bass, guitars and vocals. The latter is quite the prolific character on the Swedish metal scene having been a member of acts such as Scar Symmetry, Torchbearer and Miseration.

The demo entitled Wood Chuck Tune turned out to be more of a pointer in the individual process of developing and expanding the musical elements, rather than a self-evident milestone. It was not until the spring of 1995 that a drummer was recruited and with the line-up now complete a new demo called In The Shadows Of The Obscure was recorded in the summer that same year.
