Thriller is the sixth studio album by American singer Michael Jackson, released on November 30, 1982, in the United States by Epic Records and internationally by CBS Records. It explores genres similar to Jackson's previous album, Off the Wall (1979), including pop, post-disco, rock and funk.

Killer were the second hard rock/heavy metal outfit on Swiss soil after the legends Krokus. The band's sophomore release, "Thriller" is actually just as thrilling as a peanut butter sandwich. One of the big reasons for this is cos the album contains sounds that we're all too familiar with. For starters, the vocalist, Marc Broman's voice has an uncanny resemblance to that of AC/DC's Brian Johnson. Don't believe me? Just listen to at least one song on this album, and you'll get the idea. His voice is falsetto, yet is more gravelly and shrill, much like Johnson's.

Originally, when I did my Thriller demo, I called it Starlight. Quincy said to me, ‘You managed to come up with a title for the last album, see what you can do for this album. I said, ‘Oh great,’ so I went back to the hotel, wrote two or three hundred titles, and came up with the title Midnight Man. The next morning, I woke up, and I just said this word.
