Brian Holland (born February 15, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan) is an American songwriter and record producer, best known as a member of Holland–Dozier–Holland, the songwriting and production team that was responsible for much of the Motown sound and numerous hit records by artists such as Martha and the Vandellas, The Supremes, The Four Tops, and The Isley Brothers. Holland, along with Lamont Dozier, served as the team's musical arranger and producer.

Holland is the 19th studio album by the American rock group the Beach Boys, released on January 8, 1973. Self-produced by the band, the album peaked at number 36 in the US and number 20 in the UK. The album is the second of two studio recordings to feature Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar, who joined the band the previous year to record Carl and the Passions – "So Tough". It is also the third and final studio album created under the management of Jack Rieley.

I want to tell you that, at least for me, the hardest part of all was admitting that something wa. ot ‘wrong’, possibly different, in my psychology. We’re trained, as men, to keep that down, to grin and bear it, to keep a stiff upper lip. Problem is, it doesn’t help anyone, least of all you.
