Issued in a standard jewel case with twelve page booklet.
Looks very much like Back To The Light , but there is no "Made in Austria" on the CD.
Recorded in various studios between March 1988 and 1992.
These performances were digitally recorded on two linked Sony '3324' 24-track machines with Apogee filters and mixed back on to two tracks on the same machines. The album was then digitally compiled at West Heath Studios with Ian Sylvester. The guitars were played mainly either through 'Zoom' boxes or good old (or new) Vox AC30's.
Extra expert programming by David Richards and Brian Zellis.
For the past 20 years I have been privileged to work with the best team in the world. Thank you Roger, John and our dear incomparable, sorely missed, Freddie, and all those who worked for Queen over the years, for getting me this far.
This album is dedicated to Harold May, Alfred Dobson, and Freddie Mercury. And to all those loved ones we have lost too soon.

The album succeeds best on its heaviest tracks such as the cover of "Rollin' Over" or "Resurrection," which features pounding drums courtesy of Cozy Powell and thundering guitar riffs with Queen-like multi-tracked vocals. References to Queen can also be heard in the eccentric humor of such numbers as "Love Token," which includes a back-and-forth dialogue in the middle of the song.

Brian May (28 July 1934 – 25 April 1997) was an Australian film composer and conductor who was a prominent figure during the Australian New Wave. He is perhaps best known for his scores to Mad Max and Mad Max 2. Life and career. Back to the Light is the first solo effort of Queen's guitarist Brian May and his second non-Queen album. It was recorded between 1988 and 1992 at the Allerton Hill Studios, mixed at the Metropolis Studios and then released on 28 September 1992 in the UK. The album was released in the United States and Canada on 2 February 1993 with a different cover.
