Formerly known as PowerPlantGhost, Schematix began during Plee's four year stint at Benjamin O. Davis Aerospace Technical High School. The group consisted of four members, Tone, Kupid, Playa Ham and Plee. They recorded a couple of songs, but none of them were released. Plee and I (tREBLEFREE) knew of each other during middle and high school, but we didn't really connect musically until both attending Eastern Michigan University. The year was 1996 and I had a radio show on WQBR, the student radio station for Eastern Michigan University.

lets go baby lets go baby
I picked up this cd at a record store in San Diego. Top Notch production with lyricism to match. This is the type of Hip Hop the world needs right now. I was overwhelmed that it had been released ten years ago and could compete with hip hop being released in this time period. I was hoping to find a more recent release of this group but to my dismay, they disbanded due to unfortunate events (read on Plee's myspace page) If you can find a copy I would most definately consider this a timeless form of Hip Hop music.
