This is a Holy Grail of an album. As a member of the Choir he often appeared as soloist in the Choir's recitals, visiting Bruges Festival in 1979 and 1981, Windsor, Aldeburgh and King's Lynn Festivals in 1980 and 1981, and singing the part of the boy Nicolas in Britten's "St Nicolas" Cantata in the Queen Elizabeth Hall in 1981. In July 1981 he gave his first solo recital in the City of London Festival, and returned in 1982 to take part again in the highly successful series "Baroque in Blackfriars"
