Ktulu has, sadly, left us. But we still have their impressive recordings. Confrontacion", their second LP broke boundaries and introduced some things never heard before in Spain. If you had to compare them, only FF come up to my mind, but FF just exemplifies a little aspect of Ktulu. Ktulu are faster, more guitar-oriented and as brutal as only "Soul of a New Machine" can match. In this album the samplers enrichen the songs, but these could easily stand on their own. The second song sets the note for the rest of the album, fast stop-and-go guitars, heavy rhythms and some melodic breaks in the choruses where FF's influence is mostly realized.
