A new two-disc set featuring performances from King Crimson’s 1995 world tour has been released. The Collectable King Crimson Vol 5: Live In Japan 1995 offers the expanded audio taken from the original concert recordings used for Crimson’s Deja VROOOM DVD. The band’s 1995 tour came after the double trio reformed after the release of THRAK. While efforts have been made to stop distribution of the bootleg version, the producers decided to instead release the material from the original sources. Those sources include concert tape archives, rehearsal tapes and audio-restored bootlegs of historic recordings.
