Difficult to find CD by Tito Puente & Celia Cruz, released in 1970. On this recording Tito Puente & Celia Cruz demonstrate their versatility to perform different genres within Afro-Caribbean music. This has a variety which includes Mambo/Son, Cha-Cha, Bolero, & Afro-Cuban religious songs ("Chango" & the other "Elegua" on tracks #5 & #10). Song # 4 is a "Mambo" and is Tito Puente's critique that the marketing term "salsa" is NOT a musical genre, this song pokes fun at the term and comes from the point of view that "salsa" it's only a cooking ingredient and nothing more.
