Miditec (Miki Bibas) is a young producer from Israel, most known as one half of Beat Hackers. Now he is out with a Miditec solo album on USTA (Underground Sound Of Tel Aviv), which focus on full on psytrance. He kicks off with a full on, melodic track that should fit best in sunny morning hours. Typical Israeli full on, but the melodies here are pretty cool.

Miditec (Miki Bibas) is a young producer from Israel, most known as one half of Beat Hackers. Now he is out with a Miditec solo album on USTA (Underground Sound Of Tel Aviv) , which focus on full on psytrance. He kicks off with a full on, melodic track that should fit best in sunny morning hours. Typical Israeli full on, but the melodies here are pretty cool. Not too fluffy, but still not very innovating sounds. Track 2 goes a bit darker. It’ starts off as a groovy track with some nice, really crispy sounds. Then suddenly we get thown into some terrible guitar trance, just like the crap we get served too much of by Skazi and other copy cats. This ruins the track for me. Track 3 goes better. We get the usual full on drift and sounds, but also a really cool voice in this one, that creates a pretty cool vibe. One of my favourite tracks on this album. Track 4 is made together with a fresh artist called Toxical. Here we go towards a bit more clubby full on direction, with the typical take offs and full on vibes we get tons of from Israel these days. Still, the melodies has a bit more creative moments than most other full on. Track 5 is made together with Cosmic Station, who is an artist from Portugal. This one starts with some sort of tribal voice, before the rolling, full on bassline kicks in. Again, going slightly darker and more intense. Quite drifting track that will probably fit well on a full on dancefloor. Some pretty cool sounds and uplifting melodies in there too. Track 6 is made together with another Israeli artist called Solar System (Lior Lahav). Here we jump into a more stumpy vibe with some nice breaks above the bassline. Also a floating melody on top and some uplifting vibes, but they could have saved me for the clubby take offs. Track 7 goes an intense full on direction. Quite massive, but in my ears, this one doesn’t sound very interesting. Track 8 is made together with someone called Alex Dorkain N.O.K. Here we get some jumpy vibes and a screaming voice sample. Some pretty crazy melodies too, but I wish it didn’t have all those breaks with the fluffy take offs. Too much full on has this these days, which for me often breaks the trance at the dance floor. The last track on this album starts the same way, but then he throws in the guitar trance vibes again. Totally cheesy Skazi style. I like some guitar, but can’t stand these 80´s, simple guitar sounds like this, which we get way too much of these days. Miditec delivers some pretty fresh full on tracks here. But, also a couple of tracks that sounds way too much like too many other full on tracks these days. I like some of the creative melodies in a couple of these tracks, and if he cuts out the guitar vibes and the too many breaks/take offs, we might hear some more interesting tracks from this guy in the near future.
