The Persistence of Memory (Spanish: La persistencia de la memoria) is a 1931 painting by artist Salvador Dalí, and one of his most recognizable works. When I came across and bought The Persistence of Memory album in early 1993 I didn't even realize that the song I had been hearing in the clubs for months and months prior was part of the album-it was a great surprise when I heard it the first time I popped the cassette (!) into my stereo (I have since purchased a.
