Inferno is the eighth full-length album by Swedish death metal band Entombed. It was released in September 2003. The album is a continuation of the sound heard on 2001's Morning Star, and combines traditional death metal with death 'n' roll, along with various other elements and influences. In 2004, Inferno was rereleased by Threeman Records and Candlelight Records with a second disc, entitled Averno. It contained the following track listing and content: Lars Göran Petrov – Vocals.

Metal Thunder: Metal Inferno. Metal Thunder: Metal Inferno is part of a voluminous series of poor '80s heavy metal compilations released cheaply by the Montreal-based St. Clair Entertainment label. The Metal Thunder series features mostly long-forgotten metal acts who attained moderate success at best during their respective '80s zeniths. Furthermore, most of the performers were more associated with the pop-metal movement than the more influential and interesting thrash metal scene of the time, making the featured music on these volumes even more trite.

It's almost too vast to listen it at once and understand it as one big (4CD) album. So we'll enter into world of feelings and thoughts, instead of facts. Before we take this journey, let me state few things. This is great source of new RPI/RPI like/other interesting new bands. I also read Inferno (in Czech of course) and have to say that it was hard, but really great. From a progressive point of view the Inferno is made of 4 CDs for more than 4 hours of music. Of course not all the 34 tracks are of the same level, but the complexity and the dramaticity of the concept gave the artists the possibility to interpret their respective chapters. On the first CD I've been particularly impressed by the Romanian YESTERDAYS (great voice) and the Italian GREENWALL.
