Anthology 3 is a compilation album by the Beatles, released on 29 October 1996 by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. The album includes rarities and alternative tracks from the final three years of the band's career, ranging from the initial sessions for The Beatles (better known as "the White Album") to the last sessions for Let It Be and Abbey Road in 1969 and early 1970

The third and final Anthology album, Anthology 3 was welcomed. Alternate tracks from The White Album, Let It Be, and Abbey Road. I especially like Paul's demo of Come and Get It, and John's "Let it Be session" revisit of Aint She Sweet, nearly 10 years after the original MGM release. The third and final Anthology album, Anthology 3 was welcomed. Alternate tracks from The White Album, Let It Be, and Abbey Road

Anthology Vol 3 Toshiba EMI Japan 1996. Sort: Recent best-seller Results cached. This last volume in the Anthology series of Beatles collectors heaven, is actually quite good though I prefer Volume 2. I love the White album alternative versions and this is the best thing about the volume. It is a fantastic experience to hear earlier versions of Happiness Is A Warm Gun (. 5), Helter Skelter (. 8), Mean Mr. Mustard (. 8), Polythene Pam (. 6), Glass Onion (. 1), Piggies (. 1), Honey Pie (. 9), Don't Pass Me By (. 2) and.

Anthology 3. Released October 28, 1996. Anthology 3 Tracklist. 1. A Beginning Lyrics. 2. Happiness Is a Warm Gun (Anthology Version) Lyrics. 3. Helter Skelter (Anthology Version) Lyrics. Anthology 2 was released in March of 1996, with Anthology 3 following in October. Each double album captures a different era of Beatles history, chronologically placing the third collection at their closing chapter in the late 1960s. The tracklist is largely taken from 1968’s The White Album, 1969’s Abbey Road, and 1970’s Let It Be. Anthology 3 Q&A.
