Bend Sinister is the ninth studio album by English post-punk band the Fall. It was released in September 1986 by record label Beggars Banquet. Bend Sinister was the third and last Fall album to be produced by John Leckie. When recording began, the band was without a drummer, as Karl Burns was fired shortly before sessions began. Ex-member Paul Hanley stepped in at first before permanent replacement Simon Wolstencroft was found.

Bend Sinister biography BEND SINISTER is a rock band from Kelowna, Canada, that mixes progressive rock with indie-flavored tones. The band formed in 2001 and takes its name from a novel by Vladimir Nabokov from 1947. Led by the distinguishable vocalist and keyboardist Dan MOXON, BEND SINISTER has gone through numerous line-up changes before settling in its current constellation with drummer Jason DANA, guitarist/backing vocalist Joseph BLOOD and bass player Matt RHODE.

The Narcotic Story is the sixth studio album by American experimental rock band Oxbow. It was their first to be released through Hydra Head Records and would be their last full-length album until Thin Black Duke, released a decade later. Co-produced by Joe Chiccarelli, the album incorporates influences from blues rock and features orchestral music, arranged by guitarist Niko Wenner.
