Made Man is the third studio album by American rapper Silkk the Shocker, released on January 19, 1999, on No Limit Records, Priority Records, and EMI. Production for the album was handled by hip hop producers Master P and Beats By the Pound and features guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Mýa and Jay-Z. The album debuted at number one on both the US Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The album made Silkk one of the best selling artist of the late 1990s.

This pop-punk smash stayed on the charts for 70 weeks. You can hear echoes of the Descendents and Misfits, among other punk staples, within the polished tunes on their breakthrough album. These Mancunians broke through pop-punk barriers with insanely catchy gems about hormonally charged angst, from "Orgasm Addict" to the remarkably mature breakup song "Oh Shit!" Dream pop, however, is a little different. The term has meant different things to different audiences at different times, because it was always more of a descriptor than a proper genre. So in assembling this list, we took the descriptive quality of the term and ran with it, assembling a list of 30 records that felt like they belonged together even as they came from different scenes, eras, and geographic locations. Despite the wide range of music here, there are certain qualities that unite these records: atmosphere, intimacy, a light coating of psychedelia, and, yes, dreaminess.
