BoneyM’s second studio album, Love For Sale, released in 1977, was a worthy follow up to their debut album Take The Heat Off Me. Continuing with the Euro Disco theme, pulsating hard driving rhythms and solid singing by Liz Mitchell, Love For Sale hits all the right notes. The album greatly benefits from being released at Disco’s commercial peak but the material here is solid. Ma Baker and the title track are memorable sing along Disco nuggets, as are Plantation Boy and Motherless Child.
