Arthur Rubinstein(Polish: Artur Rubinstein; January 28, 1887 – December 20, 1982) was a Polish American classical pianist. He received international acclaim for his performances of the music written by a variety of composers and many regard him as the greatest Chopin interpreter of his time. He was described by The New York Times as one of the greatest pianists of the twentieth century.

It also includes his HMV sessions (many of which were issued by RCA in the United States), the 1976 Brahms D minor concerto released by Decca, plus all of the previously unpublished and bonus material that first appeared in RCA’s similarly scaled 1999 Rubinstein Collection.

And Rubinstein's 1970 tribute album to the composer he cherished above all others, "The Brahms I Love," has poise, beauty and wisdom combined with gorgeous sound that adds a jewelled crown to the pianist's 1953 solo album, "Rubinstein Plays Brahms. Both are wonderful, but "The Brahms I Love" is desert island material.
