Rosetta Stone was a British pop rock band, which included the ex-guitarist of the Bay City Rollers, Ian Mitchell. In 1977, Rosetta Stone signed with Private Stock Records. Their eponymous debut album (known as Rock Pictures in some territories) was released in the United States in May 1978

Rosetta is a studio album by Greek composer and musician Vangelis, released on 23 September 2016 by Decca Records. It is dedicated to the Rosetta space probe mission, launched in 2004, being one of his several works which were inspired by space travel (Albedo . 9), or produced in collaboration with space missions (Mythodea). Rosetta received a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Age Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.

Rosetta Stone was originally formed in the eighties by Porl King and Karl North, and was one of the biggest names of the gothic rock scene in the nineties.
