Album (Studio full-length). Jeff Waters : Vocals, Guitars & Bass. 체적으로 분위기가 부드럽고, annihilator만의 스타일도 사라져버린 앨범. 기억에 남는 트랙도 없고, 기억하고 싶은 트랙도 없다. Rangel (70/100).

Annihilator - Remains (1997). This is the closest to a solo album Jeff Waters ever accomplished to date with Annihilator. I mean, don’t get me wrong, it has been and always has been his band, which is why I like it, one vision, like Iced Earth. What makes it a solo album is just that, he is the only musician to appear on the album. He played every instrument (except for John Bates who played some guitar parts on No Love, and Dave Steele who sang a little on No Love and Wind ) and the drums with a drum machine.

Remains is a different album for Annihilator but it is still good! Canadian thrash metal band Annihilator entered 1997 on a high note musically because they were coming off their very good album Refresh the Demon. However, with this next album Remains, there would be some notable differences. Jeff Waters would do the vocals once again and take over all of the instrument duties. He would use the drum machine on the album instead of using real drums for the songs. John Bates who was involved with Waters in the early years of the band’s career does some guitar work on the song called No Love.
