Step-sisters of the title are the show's superstar Lana Rhoades and Blair Williams, who start out as enemies but get bonded by the final fadeout. The brother is played as a ne'er-do-well by Ryan McLane, quite accomplished at eliciting hisses from the viewer. But he gets to bed both step-sisters, singly that is, and has a dramatic confrontation with his daddy Steven St. Croix. Steven gets to hump his new wife, busty an unaging veteran Katie Morgan, real mom to Blair

Even as children, your brother and sister would probably do anything for you. When it comes to secrets, you and your brother or sister probably trust each other with the most important secrets that are guarded from the rest of the world. A great brother and sister will know everything about you, the good and the bad, and will still continue to love you. They will be supportive and try to help you be the best that you can be. Even when we love our siblings, they can also really drive us crazy.
Brother and sister, together as friends, ready to face whatever life sends. Joy and laughter or tears and strife, holding hands tightly as we dance through life. To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet.
Released a year after Eat a Peach, Brothers and Sisters shows off a leaner brand of musicianship, which, coupled with a pair of serious crowd-pleasers, "Ramblin' Man" and "Jessica," helped drive it to the top of the charts for a month and a half and to platinum record sales. This was the first album to feature the group's new lineup, with Chuck Leavell on keyboards and Lamar Williams on bass, as well as Dickey Betts' emergence as a singer alongside Gregg Allman
