The Purity of Oblivion. Under the Influence of the Moon.
The Purity Of Oblivion" begins with those traditional doom riffs that are just as heavy as they are hypnotic. As soon as the guitars stop, a groovish bass line comes into the fading distortion. Once the bass continues for a few seconds, the guitars follow the groove as the drums blur past the riffs. The lead here is well fitting with the rest of the music as the song finishes with the doom riffs it began with. A great way to start things off. "Not Of This Earth" is another prime example of what this band is about.
