So I start wanting to say all good things. History clouds the issue. When these recordings first came out RCA had gone to the so-called "dynagroove" recordings. The sound was so compressed that I found the recordings difficult to listen to. They reflected none of the quality of the orchestra or conducting. I still have them and can play them on the same electronics as these recordings
