Shark Bait History & Discography Formed by Dave Finnegan (ex Boneshakers), Shark Bait were highly rated but the band split (acrimonious, apparently) when Finnegan landed a role in the godawful Commitments film. They left no recordings beside a few compilation appearances though they recorded demos in 1985-86 and 1987. They appeared on RTE Television on both 'Visual Eyes' and 'TV Ga Ga' (anyone got tapes?). After completing the movie, Finnegan hastily convened a band to record some Shark Bait songs released under the name Scared Stiff.
