Their latest album ‘Barren Grounds’ is something new again but due to the line-up chan. ges Altar Of Oblivion seem to be slowed down their activity somewhat. However the core of the band Martin Meyer Mendelssohn Sparvath (guitars, keyboards), Mik Mentor (vocals) and Christian Nørgaard (bass) have been there since very beginning, so hopefully the album is almost in hand. I hope that reading of Doom Metal Lexicanum won’t distract Martin from finishing the new materia.
