Losin' Streak is Ray Stevens' ninth studio album and his fourth for Barnaby Records, released in 1973. The second track is a re-recording of one of Stevens' songs that was included on his second album, This Is Ray Stevens (1963). Cover versions include the Everly Brothers' hit "Bye Bye Love" and singer/songwriter Freddie Hart's hit "Easy Lovin'. Both the album and the title track (the album's sole single) unfortunately failed to chart.

Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 is a collection of ten previously released singles by Ray Stevens, released in 1987. Of the selections of songs, three were recorded for the record label of Monument Records ("Gitarzan," "Along Came Jones," and "Ahab the Arab,"), four for Barnaby Records ("Everything Is Beautiful," "Turn Your Radio On," "The Streak," "Misty"), one for RCA Records ("Shriner's Convention"), and two for MCA Records

Ray Stevens (born Harold Ray Ragsdale, 24th January 1939) is an American country and pop singer-songwriter, best known for a series of irreverent, quirky singles such as "Mississippi Squirrel Revival" and "The Streak". Both contracts were made with the help of Atlanta, Georgia music maven Bill Lowery.

Redirected from The Best of Ray Stevens (1997 album)). The discography of the American country, pop, and novelty artist Ray Stevens consists of 45 studio albums, 125 singles, 3 live albums, 65 compilation albums, 2 box sets, and 1 extended play. Stevens released his first single in 1957 and his first full album in 1962

Ray Stevens plays a reporter and Ethel's husband. An animated version of The Streak is featured. A live action version of The Streak is briefly seen. In the end everyone joins The Streak and animated versions of Ethel and The Streak are shown. The video ends with one of the cast members scolding Ray for allowing people to trample her when they chose to streak. As Ray Stevens gives her a mocking look the screen fades to black.

Album: Boogity Boogity (1974). Charted: 1 1. Get the Sheet Music License This Song. Stevens was inspired to write this after reading an article about streaking, which was a fad among college students where they would run around naked in public. Ray Stevens is The King Of Country Comedy in my opinion. Jennifer Harris from Grand Blanc, MiThis is a funny song! I saw the streaker on a flashback David opal run past David Nivin at the academy awards. Disco Duck" cracks me up; "The Streak" is goofy too, but in a different way. "Disco Duck" uses a "duck-voice"; "The Streak" is merely making a farce out of a news incident. It's fun to listen to. Lalah from Wasilla, AkThis was the goofiest song about one of the stupidest fads of the 70s.
