Live (stylized as LiVe) is the third live album by Jonas Brothers and their last release before their hiatus. The album was stylized with a "V" as number five in the Roman numeral, a reference to the original project, the cancelled fifth studio album. It was recorded between July 23 and August 16, 2013 at Mohegan Sun Arena and Gibson Amphitheatre during the final tour.

The legacy of the Chevalier Brothers lives on in the shape of a 2003 CD re-issue on Westside Records of the first album with some previously unreleased live tracks. If they do well they will also release the third album. The Chevalier Brothers were originally a busking band in London (mainly Portobello Rd & Camden Market) that couldn’t fail to get noticed. As a three piece they won an NME busking competition in the summer of 1982 & decided to expand the band & play in clubs & pubs. That’s when I got involved. To record in a studio was hard for us as we loved to play live & part of the atmosphere of a gig was wrapped up in the excitement of having a captive audience. It was hard to recreate that feeling in a studio.

Led by multi-talented North Carolina brothers Seth and Scott Avett, the group digs especially deep on last year's album The Carpenter, which explores mortality and hope in the aftermath of a cancer diagnosis for the young daughter of bassist Bob Crawford. But playfulness and warmth still win out; in The Avett Brothers' music, they always do. Hear the band perform as part of the 2013 Newport Folk Festival, recorded live on Saturday, July 27 in Newport, . Down With The Shine".
