Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is a double album produced by George Martin, featuring covers of songs by the Beatles. It was released in July 1978, as the soundtrack to the film Sgt. 1 c. butter, softened, 1 c. white sugar, 1 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 egg, separated, 1 tsp. almond extract, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream, 1/4 c. pink decorator sugar. In mixer bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, cream cheese, egg yolk, 1/2 tsp. almond extract, vanilla and salt until well blended. On floured surface, knead dough to form smooth ball. On floured surface, roll out each portion to 1/8 inch thickness.

Then, ‘Lonely Hearts Club’, that’s a good one. There’s lot of those about, the equivalent of a dating agency now. I just strung those together rather in the way that you might string together Dr Hook and the Medicine Show. All that culture of the sixties going back to those travelling medicine men, Gypsies, it echoed back to the previous century really. I just fantasised, well, ‘Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’.

Two hearts, beating as one, together! Going through, every emotion, they can weather! A love, so strong, nothing, can keep them, apart. Two people, sharing their love and their heart! Blissfully, they go along, with not a care, in the world. For what they have, for each other, has now, been unfurled! Love, has it tender moments, there's nothing, one can compare. Bob James, of Fourplay and CTI fame, is the subject of a Japanese Public Television documentary called Hearts Together. The beginning of the story is Bob’s work with amateur musicians from earthquake-stricken Northeast Japan a few months after the disaster. But that work, and a song Bob wrote for the project, Put Our Hearts Together have spawned many more positive events and collaborations, which have been added to the story (and the documentary)
