The Different Story (World of Lust and Crime) is the third English album by German singer Peter Schilling. The English counterpart to the German album of the same name, The Different Story (World of Lust and Crime) is the last English album by Peter Schilling to date. All the songs but the title track are from previous albums. The title track was a collaborative effort between Peter Schilling and Enigma's Michael Cretu, and is the only song written and released in English only.

The Last Crime was an emo/hardcore band from Long Island, NY, featuring ex-members of beyond, . band, Dynasty Rocks, The 52 X, etc. The last Crime was Rich Muller, Kevin Egan, Eric Svirida & Steven DePalo. Their only release was a Self-Titled CD, which was released in 1997 on The Omega (Omega 002). Also, two unreleased songs (that were later remastered) and a live set from december 1997 were also caught on tape.

THE LAST CRIME was born in 1996 when Kevin Egan, following his time in forerunning NYHC outfit Beyond and the subsequent post-hardcore outfit . Band, recruited friends from local the Long Island and New York City scene. Formed with Egan and Steve DePalo both on guitar and vocals, Eric Svirida on bass, and Richard Muller on drums, the band erupted with a unified energy which immediately saw them playing live heavily around the region. Playing eighty-seven shows in their first year and turning through several bassists including Chris Donohue before Mike Ciasullo filled the slot, THE LAST CRIME recorded their first release with Alap Momin, a self-titled four-song 10″ and CD, released on NYC-based The Omega.
