Teresa Mary "Tessie" O'Shea (13 March 1913 – 21 April 1995) was a Welsh entertainer and actress. O'Shea was born in Plantaganet Street in Riverside, Cardiff to newspaper wholesaler James Peter O'Shea, who had been a soldier and who was the son of Irish emigrants, and his wife Nellie Theresa Carr. O'Shea was reared in the British music hall tradition and performed on stage as early as age six, billed as "The Wonder of Wales"

Tessie O'Shea was a Welsh actress. Born Teresa O'Shea in Cardiff, Glamorganshire, she performed as "The Wonder of Wales" from the age of six, singing and playing the banjolele. As an adult performer she became known as "Two Ton Tessie. As well as guest appearances as herself, O'Shea also appeared on the sitcom As Good Cooks Go and films including Bedknobs and Broomsticks and The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming. O'Shea passed away in 1995.
